1. Site Supervision & Quality Assurance a. Conduct inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and safety regulations b. Monitor workmanship and materials used by contractors and subcontractors c. Verify that materials delivered to the site meet specifications and are stored properly d. Witness and document testing and quality control procedures 2. Documentation & Reporting a. Reporting to the Contract Administrator/ Construction Manager all significant events that take place on the construction site. b. Written reports covering compliance with the contract documents by the contractor, and any deviation therefrom, quality of workmanship, timeliness of delivery of materials and of performance, need for contract changes and time extensions, and any construction problems which may arise. c. Preparation and submission of detailed field reports of site activities, including labor, equipment, materials, and incidents. d. Document deviations from plans or specifications and recommend corrective actions. e. Preparation of progress reports and charts and keeping logs of personnel working on the project, visitors to the site, materials delivered, and any other information that the Contract Administrator/ Construction Manager determines is necessary for the proper administration of the contract. 3. Coordination & Communication a. Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and Authority staff b. Relay contractor inquiries and field issues to the Authority and design team c. Assist in the preparation of punch lists and monitor completion of outstanding items 4. Health & Safety Oversight a. Monitor site conditions for compliance with OSHA and Authority safety standards b. Report safety concerns to Authority staff c. Ensure contractors maintain a clean and orderly worksite 5. Project Support a. Assist in reviewing contractor submittals, RFIs, and change order requests b. Support in evaluating work progress for payment applications c. Participate in final inspections
