Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Perform all investigative work necessary to establish existing conditions. For the purposes of this project, the selected firm is expected to retain the services of an environmental hygienist for any operations relevant to regulated materials. 2. Meet with Public Works staff to review findings and to discuss any system deficiencies, and to discuss potential solutions to address such deficiencies. 3. Develop proposed repairs and/or improvements for correction of system deficiencies. Any proposed repairs or improvements are expected to consider current IECC energy code requirements. Concept sketches for such repairs and/or improvements are expected to be provided, with sufficient detail to present proposed work to a building committee by your firm and the Public Works Department. 4. Prepare engineer’s opinion of probable cost for said repairs and/or improvements. Please note that the City of Bristol is subject to prevailing wage requirements in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes. Probable cost opinions developed must be comprehensive, including costs for design, construction, administration and inspection, permitting, etc.
