Specifications include, but are not limited to: HBOE currently has a web presence that requires an update in appearance, structure, features, functions and presentation of content. A recent re-branding project provides guidelines in which to redesign and re-engineer the site to better reflect the Branding Standards and key message points while improving the navigability and end-user experience of the website. In the Fall of 2011, HBOE: 1. Undertook an analysis of the current website 2. Established priority requirements for the website going forward (see Description and Development Guidelines below) and 3. Developed a website content listing (see page 30). Upon completion of the development of the site, HBOE will assume responsibility for web site content maintenance and administration. Website is hosted on MHIS servers. All content, coding and graphics will become the sole property of HBOE. Purpose: Create and implement a redesigned website based on established desired features and functions, Branding Standards (to be provided to successful vendor) and web content management program platform (Joomla). Description and Development Guidelines: Create a flexible, informative and engaging website that is easy to maintain. Website must reflect the Branding Standards and work within the HBOE web content management program platform (Joomla). The website will be part of an overall HBOE Web Content Management Program which includes the following features and functions.
