The selected firm shall manage and operate the University's washer/dryer program in a professional manner, providing the very highest caliber services to the University's Residential Community. The selected firm shall achieve these objectives: a) Operate an efficient, high quality in-house washer/dryer service for the University; b) Provide all new washers and dryers and other room equipment (tables, etc.); c) Provide requested number of washers and dryers in university areas to satisfy students' requirements. The University expects the awarded contractor to maintain or exceed (based on space limitations) the current number of washers and dryers located in the residence halls; d) Maintain and service all washer/dryer equipment on a current and continual basis; e) Be responsible for cleanliness of the washer/dryer equipment; f) Notify the University's Housing and Residence Life staff when repairs or modifications to laundry machines are made to the laundry machines; g) Provide a web-based service for all machines to allow users to contact the awarded Contractor for service, including the ability to see reporting metrics on service calls. h) Provide application-based monitoring of washers and dryers for users and to be notified of the availability of machines and when their laundry cycles are completed. i) Provide the ability to create reports and monitoring of cycles by usage and area. j) Provide cellular or IP network-based controllers to support such services. k) Maintain an accounting of all machines using clear labels or numbers to assist ECSU with reporting issues and reservations. l) Submit usage reports for all machines on a semesterly basis to the Director of Residential Housing. m) Regular Cleaning of machines shall be performed by selected contractor no less than monthly n) Cleaning of dryer ducts annually
