Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Connecticut Health Center (UConn Health) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations with higher education and/or healthcare facilities with multiple locations and at least 25 to 30 locations on the pickup/delivery schedule to provide (A) Courier/Distribution Services to the UConn Health Main Campus, and off campus locations (the annual number of pieces of mail and packages handled through the Courier/Distribution service is approximately 1,270,000 pieces.) Routine services are required Monday through Saturday, approximately 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, excluding major holidays. (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) Contractors shall be required to be able to provide service coverage twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, three hundred and sixty five (365) days per year for emergency and/or on demand services outside the routine hours.
