Wednesday Early Release On average, there are 10 early release Wednesdays during the school year, which usually start the third week of school. Please see the academic calendar attached. On Early Release Wednesdays the elementary schools dismiss at their early dismissal times are generally 3 hours prior to regular dismissal per the schedule on page 12. Late Buses Transportation for Plainfield High School and PCMS Middle School students are provided after the regular daily runs are finished. Three (3) Routes are established for such purposes, normally operating from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., approximately 99 days out of the school year. Late runs generally run Tuesdays Ans Thursdays. Due to early closings, scheduling changes, revisions to the calendar, grade level changes, power failures, or other such causes, the above times are subject to change by the District.
