Specifications for bid: • Hard copies only will be accepted. • Lease term is to be for a period of 5 years. • End of the lease is to have a buyout option of $1.00 on each piece of equipment. • At the end of the lease, the Town will be responsible for the costs associated with the return of equipment to the Owner if the Town opts not to buy the equipment at the end of the lease. • Town is responsible for the proper insurance coverage to protect the owner while the equipment is in the hands of the Town. • Lease payment options would be quarterly with the first payment being made on July 15, 2025. • Bidder to specify taxable or tax-exempt in bid. • Lease will not be bank qualified. • Lease payments will be subject to annual appropriation; the full faith and credit of the Town is not pledged.
