The Town and Public Schools of Vernon (Vernon) has asked Acrisure, LLC (Acrisure) to solicit bid proposals for administrative services (ASO) for Medical, Behavioral Health Care, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Dental, and Stop-Loss Insurance components of the self-funded Vernon employee health plan. This RFP is requesting delivery of the comprehensive benefits plan through a traditional self-insured arrangement, mirroring the current funding arrangement. We are open to receiving a complete package of the requested services or carve-out options. Vernon reserves the right to choose one plan administrator for all products, or individual administrators for the different components of the benefit plans. This is a formal RFP requesting proposals for an effective date of July 1, 2026. The employee health benefits plan has not been put out to bid recently. You are allowed to provide proposals for each requested coverage or provide a package proposal for all requested coverages, if that would provide advantages for you and Vernon. If there are favorable pricing terms for combining the medical, behavioral, PBM, dental services and stop-loss insurance, your proposal should indicate those advantages.
