The Selected Provider will provide services as follows: a. 24 hours per day and 7 days per week Paramedic level services to the Town of Bloomfield. Hours of coverage require 5 (five) full-time Paramedic level employees to fill a 24/7 position, and one (1) full-time Secondary Paramedic level employee for a Monday – Friday (0800 – 1600) position. b. All work schedules will be pre-approved by the Town prior to implementation. c. The Selected Provider may not remove or reassign a permanently assigned Paramedic without justifiable cause or consent from the Town, as determined by the Bloomfield Chief of Police or his/her designee. d. The Town has the flexibility to adjust the Secondary Paramedic’s hours based upon the needs of the Town. The adjustment in hours will not exceed Monday through Friday, and will not exceed an eight-hour work period during the hours of 6am to 6pm e. Provide proof of ability to adequately cover shifts in case of absence (PTO, injured, sick, etc.). No sub-contracted company shall provide services to the Town without advance approval by the Town.
