· Assist the Beach and Recreation Commission in developing a Surf Club Master Plan by providing a full study of the park, including current and future uses of the park. · Review existing Town of Madison Strategic Plan and Plan for Conservation and Development and ensure the Master Plan aligns with the current Strategic Plan and the Plan of Conservation and Development. · Analysis of all materials gathered and surveys performed during the study of Surf Club Park. · ADA requirements and recommendations must be included in the design and features of the park. · Complete a traffic/parking study for the park including entrance, exit, and all parking lots. Include ideas for alternative exit strategies. · Develop a Sea Level Risk Assessment for the entire park. · Develop alternate plans for the Surf Club building; including but not limited to new construction, new location at the park, raising the building to meet current building codes, etc... · Meet with the Town Department Heads and elected officials to gather input. · At least two public outreach sessions to solicit community input on the needs and desires of the community. Manage the public engagement process - Plan and facilitate community engagement meetings to gain input from the general public. · Engage with key user groups including The persons with disabilities community, Madison Youth Lacrosse, Madison Youth Soccer Club, Madison Little League, Madison Youth Football, Daniel Hand Athletic Director, senior citizens, etc…
