East Hartford Public Schools (EHPS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide educational and related service support including Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) SLPAs, and Special Education Teachers at all levels. SLPs and SLPAs would offer related services/therapeutic services across the district. Teacher positions include resource settings as well as some specialized program positions. Openings are for positions that provide academic and related services to a diverse group of students, ages 3–22, with a wide range of educational and communication needs. Daily responsibilities could include providing/supporting quality instruction, supporting therapeutic and/or related services aligned with student IEPs, conducting academic or related service assessments, maintaining appropriate documentation, participating in PPT/IEP meetings, and collaborating with educators, related service providers, and families to ensure that students receive the supports necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
