The awarded respondent shall keep the following areas at the State Capitol Complex, listed in priority order (which may be amended at the CGA’s discretion) free and clear of snow and ice: 1. All roadways, parking areas and sidewalks; 2. All exterior steps, porticos, emergency exits and safety doors; 3. A three-foot path to and around all fire hydrants; 4. All storm drains in roadways and sidewalks; 5. The terrace between the State Capitol building and Legislative Office Building;6. All traffic and parking signs; 7. A three-foot path to the State Capitol cooling tower building; and 8. The Legislative Office Building generator/transformer enclosure and the dumpster enclosure. b) Snow and Ice Removal Requirements - The awarded respondent shall maintain the State Capitol Complex and the Old State House in accordance with the following removal requirements. The awarded respondent shall: i. Keep roadways and sidewalks passable and safe for vehicles and pedestrians at all times, day or night, seven days a week both during and after snow or ice storms; ii. On weekdays during and following snow or ice storms, clear and keep clear of snow and ice all areas at the State Capitol Complex between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. All areas shall be cleared as often as required to remain passable and safe for vehicles and pedestrians at all times during the day; iii. Perform snow or ice removal automatically at one half (1/2) inch of snow at the State Capitol Complex streets and sidewalks and the Old State House sidewalks, or any ice buildup, or at any time at the request of the owner’s designated representatives...
