Specifications include, but are not limited to:Snow Removal Services 1.Snow removal services per storm event include the removal of snow, ice and/or sleet, sanding, salting and/or de-icing. Return visits at shift changes shall be considered part of the “per storm” total snow accumulation for that snow event. 2.Contractor(s) shall be responsible for the clean and safe condition of snow, ice and/or sleet covered areas including, but not limited to, all driveways, parking areas, passways, walkways, sidewalks (entire width and length), stairs, doorways including fire exits/escapes/fie plugs/hydrants, front and back decks, sheds, ramps, generators, dumpsters, propane tanks and mailbox areas. 3.The contractor shall provide the necessary tools, equipment, and operator(s) to remove snow from the facility 7 days per week and/or during any snow event during the winter season. 4.Contractor shall be responsible for supplying Sand and Salt mixture, De-Icer, and any/all other materials, equipment and personnel necessary to provide contracted services. 5. Contractor shall be responsible for the disposal of snow in a lawful manner. 6. In the event the storm continues throughout the working day, and/or the accumulation is excessive during a larger storm event, Contractor must maintain a continuous open travel area during the operation hours of the facility in addition to “at shift changes”. This shall be considered as part of the “per storm” pricing structure for that storm event
