Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Connecticut is seeking proposals for snow removal services for the Department ofEmergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP) locations. Contractor(s) shall be responsible for theclean and safe condition of snow covered passways and walkways as identified during the mandatorysite inspections as well as throughout this RFP Document.1.Contractor(s) shall be responsible for the clean and safe condition of snow covered pass waysand walkways as identified throughout this RFP Document.2.Contractor(s) shall complete snow removal services by 7:00 a.m. unless otherwise stated. In theevent the storm continues throughout the working day, the Contractor must maintain an opentravel area during the operation hours of the facility.a. FOR TROOP L/WEST DIST HQ LITCHFIELD ONLY: Plowing and sanding will start atBantam Road including the circle in front of Troop L. This facility is a 24 hour operation openSunday through Saturday.3.All Driveways, parking areas, sidewalks (entire width and length), stairs, doorways including fireexits/escapes, front and back decks, fireplugs and auxiliary fire exits, ramps and mailbox areasmust be maintained and cleaned following seasonal inclement weather.4.Additional services may be required and shall be identified as needed5.Contractor shall be responsible for supplying Sand and Salt mixture, De-Icer, and any/all othermaterials, equipment and personnel necessary to provide contracted services.6.Agency shall be responsible for clearing areas (picnic tables, driveways, parked cars, etc)requiring snow removal and sand/salt/de-icing services
