Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specific area required for snow removal services a-1. Two (2) parking lots, front and rear of building. a-2. Walkway along the side of the building connecting the two (2) lots. a-3. Snow and ice must be removed from sidewalks, concrete areas, fire exits and areas to trash and recycling containers plus garage door. All three (3) entrance/exit doors (one (1) in the front of the building under the overhang and two (2) in the back lot) must be cleared. Sand and Salt /De-Icing 1. Sanding, Salting and De-Icing shall be part of the snow plowing services per storm event. 2. Mixture composed of seven (7) parts sand and two (2) parts salt. 3. De-Icer shall be non-injurious to concrete and will be required for concrete areas (e.g., stairways, sidewalks, doorways, etc). 4. Additional Sanding, Salting and/or De-Icing a-4. Additional sanding, salting and/or de-icing requires prior authorization by an authorized State representative for the facility. b-4. Upon Authorization, contractor shall respond to a request for additional sanding, salting and/or de-icing within two (2) hours
