Snow shall be completely cleared one (1) hour before normal start times and continued until the end of the Winter Weather Event. At no time shall slippery conditions exist. Parking and roadway areas shall not exceed 1 inch accumulation throughout the Winter Weather Event and be completely cleared at the end of the Winter Weather Event and post Winter Weather Event clearing as required. 11. Every effort shall be made during a severe storm to clear and keep clear all fire lanes, entrances to schools and the administration parking areas. In general, no parking spaces shall be lost due to snow piling. Parked vehicles shall not be snowbound as a consequence of snow plowing (hand clear if necessary). If end spots or any parking spots need to be cleared by means of a loader or similar during and after a winter weather event, there will be no cost incurred to the district. If loader, additional equipment or hauling off site is needed, Contractor notification and approval will be required by Director of Facilities prior to service, including but not limited to moving snow piles to maintain site lines etc… 12. Contractor shall provide special attention to the following areas: (See definition page) a. Handicapped ramps and curb cuts b. Handicapped parking areas c. Garage overhead and pass doors d. Fire Hydrants, Siamese connections, meters, propane storage areas, all fuel fills, dumpsters, loading docks and HVAC units.
