Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Fleet Manager of the Town of Groton proposes to purchase a new Viking Sno-King hydraulic Power Angle Snow Plow, push frame, lift frame, hydraulic controls, snow plow lighting system, (No Substitutes). In addition to the detailed specifications, all standard factory accessories are expected to be provided. SNOW PLOW EQUIPMENT: SNOWPLOW BLADE: Sit shall be heavy-duty (nine) 9-feet long, and designed for rough terrain. It shall have an elastomer type poly trip edge for trip cushion attaching the cutting edge and the mowboard. Plow shall have a minimum of seven heavy-duty ribs with a steel mowboard. The plow shall be capable of 35 degrees left or right of center including two hydraulic cylinders to perform this task. Brand and style of snowplow shall be Viking Sno-King (No Substitutes). PUSH FRAME: It shall be heavy duty and permanently mounted, shall be equipped with hydraulic lift cylinder and shall have plow light system meeting all State and Federal regulations. SNOWPLOW CONTROLS: Plow controls shall include up, down, left, right, using a joystick. The joystick control shall be attached to a recoil cord for flexibility. HYDRAULICS: The hydraulic system shall be an externally mounted electric hydraulic power unit type including tank, hoses, valves, switches, controls, wires, and installation kit to operate as a complete unit. SNOWPLOW LIGHTS: It shall have two headlights, two directional with 4-way flasher and high and low beam. The snow plow lights shall be capable of divorced operation from the O.E.M. lighting system. There shall be a dashboard switch to achieve the required results. Snowplow lighting system shall be capable of being mounted to the snowplow frame at a suitable, functional height. WARRANTY: All manufacturers guarantees or warranties for all parts and labor or two (2) years whichever is the greatest. OPTION: Install plow on 2013 Ford F-350 Cab & Chassis 4-Wheel Drive DRW truck.
