• Remove all existing windows, siding, and trim (including but not limited to: skirt boards, interior and exterior trim, skirt boards). Bidders are responsible for assessing how many layers of siding are on building during walk through; quotes should assume that any and all layers are removed. • Assess sheathing and replace as necessary – to be completed on a time and materials basis. • Wrap house with Typar or similar house wrap. • Install new Anderson 200 series windows. Windows shall be the same size or up to 1 inch smaller in height or width – window rough openings shall not be enlarged. • Trim interior with 1x4 casing, 5/4 bullnose sill, and 1x4 apron; interior trim boards to be fingerjointed pine. • Paint interior trim with two coats Regal Select; paint color to be chosen by SHT. • Trim window exteriors with 5/4 x 4 LP Smartside trim • Install LP Smartside lap siding on entire building exterior surfaces. • Supply and install 5/4 x 4 LP Smartside on all corners; 5/4 x 6 skirt board; 5/4 x 6; 5/4 x 4 frieze board • Supply and install 5/4 LP Smartside blocking for all wall penetrations. Seal any penetrations with silicone. • Supply and install metal Z flashing on all windows, skirt board, and anywhere else necessary. • Replace Soffit with LP Soffit and fascia board with LP 5/4 board. • LP Smartside to be pre-colored, but all exposed nail holes to be filled and painted with color match paint. • Caulk around windows with color matched caulk. • Caulk all corner boards and anywhere else required by manufacturer (LP).
