Stamford Public Schools (SPS) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to supply security uniforms and accessories for its school-based security personnel. Uniforms must project a professional appearance, promote safety, and meet functional durability standards appropriate for daily wear in a K-12 educational environment. The intent of this solicitation is to establish a reliable source of supply for the following standard uniform components, with the option for additional quantities to be ordered throughout the contract term as needed: • Uniform Shirts (Short Sleeve): Light Blue, Navy Blue, or White; 65/35 polyester-cotton blend; epaulets; stitched badge tab; two chest pockets with flaps. • Uniform Shirts (Long Sleeve): Same as above with long sleeves and button cuffs. • Uniform Pants: Black or Dark Navy; durable polyester blend; flat front; reinforced stitching; available in men's and women's sizes. • Windbreaker Jacket: Black zip-up; water-resistant; lightweight with fleece or mesh lining; school logo optional. • Cap/Hat: Black, structured baseball-style; with optional embroidered "BOE or SPS Security" text, for instance. • Duty Belt (Optional): Nylon or leather belt suitable for light-duty equipment. • Name Tags/Badges: Plastic or metal nameplate; slot or patch for school-issued badge. Quantities and descriptions listed herein are estimates only and are provided for bidding purposes. Final specifications, colors, embroidery details, and quantities will be determined in coordination with the District's Safety and Security Manager prior to production or order fulfillment. The District reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities, adjust specifications, or place additional orders during the contract period based on operational needs.
