Specifications include, but are not limited to: The property consists of two eleven story towers containing 221 apartment units, with a connecting one story Community Room common area. Elderly/handicapped and disabled residents occupy the one bedroom/efficiency units. The security firm would be required to provide coverage for seven days from 6:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M., a total of 56 hours per week. Security personnel would be required to walk throughout the eleven stories in both Towers, including the emergency stairwells and the adjacent parking lots to provide security for the residents. The position will require the security person to wear a uniform and be readily identifiable to all residents as well as visitors. Additionally the Authority requests that the security person be bilingual (Spanish/English) in order to converse with residents during emergencies.
