Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of work is to develop a style book that includes signage design standards that are consistent throughout the Library, but allow for some variation within the standards, e.g., the choice of different colors, fonts, and sizes within a pre-selected range of acceptable choices. The signage should assist library users as they move through the library space, identify library services, and promote library resources. The Library requires a signage program that moves beyond traditional library signs and terminology to provide a retail signage model that uses concepts and terminology that are easily understood by the general public. The consultant will be provided with a master list of existing library signs (Appendix 1).
