Specifications include, but are not limited to: The awarded Contractor shall be responsible for supplying all materials and labor to complete the project.; Enclosed in this Invitation to Bid is a photograph of the existing salt dome, located at the Fairfield Public Works Garage, Fairfield, CT. This structure is a dome-shaped structure, with wood framing, and asphalt shingles.; Staging areas can be designated and assigned with the Building Maintenance Manager of Public Works.; This job will need to be completed in a timely manner. Time is of the essence.; The Awarded Contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of existing roofing materials, as well as installing a new roof meeting the following requirements. Make safe work may be required. All work shall need to be scheduled with the Building Maintenance Manager.; Replace standard rake and drip edge on dormer /shed roofs.; Replace Plywood Siding Panels (T1-11) and all trim boards on the 2 Gable ends.; Replace any damaged portions of custom aluminum drip edge at base of building.; Replace step Flashing at Gable ends which may lead to replacing siding.; Provide Allowance for replacing siding if necessary with Ply Gem Transformations Double 4 in. x 150 in. White Lap Vinyl Siding; Replace flashing around roof vents.; Ice and snow shield membrane by Grace Construction Products, or Owner approved equal, shall be installed on the entirety of the roof.; Preferred Shingle Brand: GAF Royal Sovereign 3 Tab Roofing Shingle, Color: Slate, Algae Resistant, Owner approved equal.; Approximately 120 squares of shingles; Proposed Alternative shingle products shall be listed on the Bid Proposal Form. Bidders shall include Manufacture’s specifications, literature, and warranty terms.
