Identify any challenges with removal, floor leveling, or anchoring. ● Demolition and Removal o Safely remove and dispose of existing seating. o Ensure minimal disruption to existing structure, finishes, or equipment. ● Design and Layout o Propose layout(s) that optimize visibility, comfort, and accessibility. o Include ADA-compliant seating, companion seating, and appropriate aisle spacing. o Incorporate seat numbering and row labeling. o Include aisle lighting. ● Product Specifications o Provide seating options that are durable, comfortable, and aesthetically suitable for a historic auditorium. o Upholstery must be flame-retardant and stain-resistant. o Offer options for wood, fabric, and metal finishes. o Provide plaques for donor recognition for installation on seat arm or back. ● Installation o Anchor new seating securely to existing flooring/substructure. o Perform installation in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. ● Post-Installation o Clean and prepare the site for occupancy. o Provide training/manuals for maintenance staff. o Offer warranty and service plan information.
