Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA or Authority) of theDepartment of Energy and Environmental Protection is sending your firm a request for proposal(RFP) for a consultant to act as an extension of staff to assist the PURA in its regulatoryoversight of utility rate making and all other utility issues affecting the cost and provision of utilityservice in Connecticut.Pursuant to 16-18a of the General Statutes of Connecticut (Conn. Gen. Stat.), thePURA is seeking qualified consultants with successful experiences in the utility regulatoryindustry. The PURA seeks consultants to assist the Authority s staff in ruling on regulatorymatters during docketed proceedings, potentially in all areas of utility regulation, andencompassing the gas, water, telecommunications and electric utility disciplines. Consultantsmay submit proposals for all such services or any subset of these services.
