Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Greet visitors upon entry into the main lobby. Guard shall vet/evaluate visitors via intercom/camera system prior to allowing entry to the building. 2. The guard shall scan each visitor’s license through a national sexual offender database and issue a “visitor” pass upon system clearance/approval to verified contractors and visitors. The Town will provide all furniture and equipment necessary to issue passes/perform database checks. 3. Assist in package delivery and tracking. 4. Guard shall keep a log of district personnel visiting the facility for meetings or other engagements. Each log must be submitted to the Headmaster or his/her designee at the end of each shift. 5. Guard is required to be onsite from 6:45AM through 2:45PM, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends, public holidays, vacations terms, and all other days identified as school not in session. Refer to appended school calendar for complete schedule. Guard will be required to remain onsite during scheduled early dismissal days and teacher conference days. Where early dismissal is called due to inclement bad weather (snow, ice, etc.) and school events are cancelled, the guard will be released of duty as determined by the Headmaster or his/her designee. 6. Patrols and monitors assigned areas of the school buildings, grounds and parking lots to deter, detect, report and stop violations of the law and/or school board policies. 7. Assists administrators and staff in crisis and emergency situations.
