Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. Scope This contract is for the rental of trucks 10,000 19,000 GVWR, and equipment to perform services that may include: plowing sanding and salting and snow and/or ice removal. Truck and equipment rental may include contractor operators or may be operated by Client Agency personnel. II. Equipment A. Snow Removal Truck with Sand Spreader and Plow The truck shall be furnished with a snowplow, material spreader and operator. The truck shall be a minimum of 10,000 19,000 GVWR, 4-wheel drive, capable of carrying a material spreader. Material spreader shall be capable of dispersing material for ice and snow control. Spreader shall be self contained powered, cab controlled, hopper type with a rated capacity of 1-1/2 to 3 cubic yards. Equipment shall be a Hi-Way Model P or approved equal as determined by the Client Agency. B. Front End Loader Front End Loader shall be 4-wheel drive with bucket capacity from 2 to 7 cubic yards. Unit shall be equipped with cab, heater, defroster and lights C. Motor Grader Equipment shall be tandem axle equipped with cab, heater, defroster and lights. Contractors shall specify the type of plow the equipment will be furnished with (standard, standard and side mounted wing, standard and front mounted, or standard with both front and side mounted wing). 1. 8,000 14,000 lbs 2. 14,001 19,000 lbs 3. 19,001 30,000 lbs D. Snow Thrower Equipment shall be a minimum of 8 horse power, 3 speed forward, 1 speed reverse, recoil or battery start. Clearing width shall be a minimum of 20 inches.
