Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall inspect the automatic sprinkler systems in all buildings listed on the pricing page, including the fire pump houses, four (4) times a year and shall promptly report to the Agency Representative any items requiring repair.This contract is primarily for inspection and testing services for all buildings including the garages and pump houses. The contractor shall only make alterations, repairs and replacements when ordered by the Agency.The bidder shall have staff on hand 24/7/365 tobe able to install new and repair current wet systems, dry systems, pre-action systems, PIV’s, all associated piping, tamper switches and flow switches, including all necessary parts and accessories.All fire alarm tie-ins will be done by the University’s Fire Alarm System maintenance contractor (currently TPC Associates) in conjunction with sprinkler system alteration, repair or replacement work done under this contract. Contractor will be responsiblefor testing the repair to ensure that it reports properly into the Fire Alarm Panel. This contract will be for the complete service and maintenance of various types of major appliances located on the campus of Central Connecticut State University.
