Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bidder shall: - Own and operate a minimum of five (5) propane delivery trucks to provide reliable delivery service - Own a minimum of sixty thousand (60,000) Water Capacity US Gallons aggregate propane storage to support propane fuel deliveries. Wholesale propane terminals will not satisfy this requirement. - Respond to an emergency within 1½ hours - Have three (3) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of propane fueling stations and be able to perform all repairs, including the dispenser - Provide their hourly labor rate and parts markup for repairs and maintenance of the fueling station The awarded Vendor shall: - Provide and monitor a nitrogen tank for the operation of the emergency shut-off of the dispenser and provide a spare tank on-site at the fueling station - Provide a trailer-mounted self-contained and powered fueling station in the event the Town’s propane fueling station cannot be repaired within 48 hours - Provide proper signage and an emergency telephone number at the propane tank and fueling site. The emergency number shall be to a manned center in case of emergency. - Supply a defined and documented safety training program and refresher program as required for Town employees on the proper propane handling for vehicle fueling - Supply and install a remote tank level monitor to ensure timely deliveries of Propane Autogas - Supply two (2) identical keyed padlocks for the propane station. The awarded Vendor’s delivery drivers and designated Town employees will have the combination of the locks for deliveries and snow removal.
