The City of Norwich, Connecticut is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from qualified firms and individuals for the contracting for comprehensive Owner’s Representative services in connection with the design and construction of one new middle school and the renovation of the Huntington School into Adult Education and Norwich Public School administrative offices. The middle school will be built at the site of the existing Teacher’s Memorial Global Studies Magnet School, 15 Teachers Drive, Norwich, CT. The Samuel Huntington Elementary School is located at 80 West Town Street, Norwich, CT. These two tasks comprise the Project. The Owner’s Representative will be the first of the service providers the City will select and engage for the Project. Among the services the Owner’s Representative will be providing is assisting the City in procuring the other needed service providers, including an architect and most likely (depending on the ultimate choice of a delivery system) a construction manager at risk.
