• Contractor’s technicians must have all appropriate licenses, certifications, and qualifications that meet the standards as approved by the Department of Administrative Office of the State Fire Marshal. • Contractor must have certification for Portable Fire Extinguishers using a national organization like National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors. An associate degree in fire science, occupational safety and health or emergency and disaster management is preferred but not required. • Contractor must be able to perform testing, inspections and evaluations in compliance with all applicable codes and guidelines under all local, state, and federal rules and regulations. All information must be properly recorded, documented, and readily available to NHBOE to demonstrate compliance. • Contractor’s technician’s methods and actions must meet all fire extinguishers manufacturer’s specifications and standards for fire treatment. • Contractor’s technicians must be able to record services and inspections on fire extinguishers, provide written reports for each service with comments and recommendations based on the above testing, inspecting, and evaluating of all fire extinguishers districtwide. • Within 48 hours of school visit the Contractor’s technicians must record required services that is needed per fire extinguisher • Contractor must provide annual fire extinguisher inspection districtwide • Contractor to recharge extinguishers when authorized • Contractor shall provide hydro testing when authorized
