1. The Town of Enfield is seeking a vendor to provide fertilization and weed control for approximately 52 acres of turf. The locations being considered for fertilization and weed control are: A. EnfieldAnnex, approximately 20.7 acres, B. EnfieldHigh School, approximately 13.8 acres, C. Brainerd Park Baseball/Softball, approximately 2.7 acres, D. PowderHollow Baseball Fields, approximately 4.1 acres, E. Central Library, approximately 2.8 acres, F. EnfieldTown Green/Higgins Park, approximately 10.2 acres, G. EnfieldPoliceDepartment, approximately 0.8 acres, and H. Asnuntuck Community College ballfields, approximately 2.0 acres, 2. Vendor shall comply with all federal, state and local laws, including but not limited to that pertaining to the application of fertilizers, pesticides, or similar products, to turf areas at schools and parks. 3. Vendor shall provide services on an ON-CALL basis only. Any work performed must be at the request and authorization of the Building and Grounds Division of the Enfield Department of Public Works. Any work performed without expressed authorization will not be approved for payment.
