Due to high volume of building permit applications, the Town of West Hartford, Building Inspection Division seeks a vendor to perform on-call building permit application plan reviews. The selected vendor (“vendor”) will be notified by the West Hartford Supervisor of Inspections or their designee (“Town”) of the need for a building permit application plan review. Application materials and instructions will be emailed to the vendor by the Town. The vendor will respond within two (2) workdays (Monday – Friday, except Federal Holidays) acknowledging receipt of the application materials. The vendor will have ten (10) workdays to email written comments and/or plan markups on the application materials to the Town. The vendor may request additional time from the Town. Application materials will be for larger developments or redevelopments including plans and specifications for commercial, public, and private buildings including, but not limited to, apartments, churches, convalescent homes, hospitals, and other structures often involving concrete or steel framing.
