CLC is seeking proposals for a wide variety of physical, tangible audio and/or video materials, including video games, that could be purchased by libraries for the purpose of lending to library users. These materials use sound and/or visual elements to entertain, educate, or convey information. Any format that may conceivably be labeled, cataloged, packaged, and secured by a library for loan to library users is acceptable, including discs, cartridges, pre-loaded devices, and multimedia players with associated content. Print books are acceptable if they feature an audio and/or video component. If a proprietary player, device, headset, etc. is required to access the content, suppliers are encouraged to also include this equipment in their proposals, along with associated accessories.
