Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following tasks shall be performed weekly (unless otherwise indicated): 1.) All grass areas within existing property borders shall be mowed, and trimmed. Cutting height shall be within 3”- 4” depending on weather and as directed by the Department of Public Works. 2.) Walks, roadsides, curbs, light poles, fences and all other obstructions shall be trimmed. 3.) Any clippings deposited on walkways and roads shall be blown away. 4.) Any debris found on the ground shall be picked up and disposed of. 5.) All cracks in walks and roadways shall be kept free of vegetation. 6.) Flower beds and walkways shall be edged once a month. 7.) Failure to complete the tasks listed above will result in forfeiture of payment for the week in question. Spring Cleanup 1.) Once snow has melted, contractor and Public Works Superintendent or designee, will schedule the date for spring pick-up, all debris shall be picked up, removed and disposed of offsite. Debris shall be removed from shrub beds. Walkways, roads and parking areas. Fall Cleanup 1.) Once the majority of leaves have fallen from the trees, Contractor and Public Works Superintendent or designee, will schedule the date for leave pick-up. they shall be picked up, removed and disposed of off site. Leaves shall also be removed from shrub beds, walkways, roads and parking areas.
