The Town of New Milford (Town) is soliciting qualifications from qualified and experienced operators/developers/architects (“Respondents”) for a long-term land lease for the Town-Owned Property located at 50 East Street (“Property”), which contains a 31,044 square-foot Colonial Revivalstyle building (“Building”) on 4.63 acres of land. The development site is on public water and sewer. Selected Respondents will be encouraged to demonstrate their experience in developing an adaptive reuse for this Historically Registered Property to include a municipal Cultural Center/Performance Space and/or other complimentary mixed uses and their ability to include a potential new development on the property that could include a mix of uses (institutional, residential*, etc.) * Residential options may include but not be limited to senior citizen housing, artist-in-residence housing or market rate housing. Respondents may choose to respond to: • The entire project • The Cultural Center/Performance Space • The Housing portion
