Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall perform the following services: 1. Spring Cleanup a. Gardens and planting beds: blow debris and foliage, dead prune plants, perennials, shrubs, and small trees; rake and weed beds, and report any damages and plant loss after the winter season b. Lawn areas: blow, rake, and dispose debris, foliage, and small twigs and branches; cut lawn if necessary, and report any damages to lawn area after the winter season c. Walkways, patios, stairways, driveways, parking areas and lots, and loading dock area: blow, collect and dispose debris remaining after the winter season. Report any damages after the winter season 2. Weekly Lawn and Grounds Care a. Weekly mowing, edging, blowing, and removing debris from all lawn areas b. Blowing, raking, removing, and disposing debris from all planting beds c. Blowing, removing, and disposing debris from all walkways, entry and exit points, patios, courtyards, decks, driveways, and parking areas d. Weeding and edging all planting beds 3. Monthly Lawn and Grounds Care a. Mowing, blowing, and removing debris from the Spill Over area (located near the vegetable garden) 4. Fall Cleanup a. Blowing, removing, and disposing leaves, debris, and any other foreign items from lawn areas b. Blowing, removing, and disposing leaves, debris, and any other foreign items in planting beds c. Blowing, removing, and disposing leaves, debris, and any other foreign items on driveways, walkways, pathways, and exits and entrances to building d. Removing any dead plants, perennial flowers/grasses, winter prep (cutting/pruning) in planting beds 5. Special Services a. Mulching application in planting beds 2.5” to 3.5” thick shall be performed in early spring. A 1” thick fall mulching application shall be performed in planting beds located around the front entrance and flag pole. b. Pruning all plants, shrubs, and small trees in the summer as needed c. Fertilizing lawn areas four (4) times per year, early & late spring, and early & late fall. Weed control shall consist of a four (4) step application process. d. Fertilizing plants, shrubs, perennials, and small trees two (2) times a year, spring and fall
