The key management system should have (at a minimum) the following attributes: The system must include the following features: 1 Unit with the capacity for a minimum of 60 keys per unit. 75 individual tags/fobs delivered with unit An intuitive interface that is “user friendly.” Check-in and out process. Reporting capabilities: User activity reports that include what keys are checked out and by whom. Customizable report options. Mobile App that will allow supervisors to view who has what keys, must interface with Apple and Android devices. Must provide a functional way to ensure the same keys are returned at the end of each day. Each Key Safe shall have the capability to program keys by user and/or group. All keys shall be locked in place until removed by an authorized user. Each Key Safe System shall be programmed to unlock keys for authorized users for a specific key/vehicle or facility. All users shall be given an ID code to log in to retrieve their assigned key (SORTA would prefer to use employee badge #'s). Available biometric (Fingerprints) option for each user Each Key Safe shall have its own CPU with a network interface card to send log files and reports for query/reporting capabilities by administrators Software shall be provided with each unit/safe and free of any paid subscriptions. Software shall be capable of assigning groups of users, keys, and vehicles or facilities. Each Key Safe shall provide management software, including tracking users, and individual keys, as well as reporting functions.
