Through this procurement, the Department is seeking to procure two (2) Intensive Transitional Treatment Centers, each of which will serve six (6) DCF youth. One ITTC will be for females, and one will be for males. The Contractor will provide trauma informed care to include: a. Individualized therapeutic and behavioral approaches and intensive supervision in the structured setting in order to minimize behaviors related to functional deficits to ensure an optimal level of functioning across all domains-school, work and/or community settings. b. For those youth who have more difficulty engaging in community activities, there are direct and active interventions in assisting them to become involved in activities and maintain them in naturally occurring community support programming by providing psycho-education/therapeutic interventions to assist in development of relational support, social and communication skills, stress/anger management, and daily living skills. c. Addressing medically necessary goals for achieving relational support with caretakers and other relational supports in the community f rom which the youth came. d. Therapeutic techniques/strategies utilized in the relationship with the youth/family, primarily through group, milieu experiences. Provides the significant structure and supervision outlined in the model and consonant with the staffing requirements.
