2.1 Disconnection and Demolition: • Disconnect gas lines, electrical connections, and control systems associated with the existing units. • Reclaim refrigerant in accordance with EPA regulations. • Remove and dispose of existing HVAC units in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. • Provide necessary crane and rigging services for the safe removal and placement of units. 2.2 Furnish and Install Two New 20-Ton Roof Units: • Furnish and install two (2) new 20-ton rooftop units with gas heating, two-stage cooling, and integrated economizers. • Provide curb adapters to fit the new units onto the existing roof structure. 2.3 Mechanical and Electrical Reconnection: • Reconnect gas lines to each new unit, ensuring proper sealing and safety checks. • Install new electrical disconnects for each unit, meeting current code requirements. • Install new control systems for both units, ensuring compatibility with existing building management systems (BMS). • Provide new condensate traps and drains. • Furnish and install new thermostats for each unit. 2.4 Testing and Commissioning: • Complete start-up and testing of both units, verifying operational performance per manufacturer specifications. • Conduct testing and balancing to ensure optimal airflow and temperature control. 2.5 Permits and Fees: • Secure all necessary permits.
