The project encompasses the acquisition/purchasing and installation of a new HVAC system at Windham Water Works. The Windham Water Works HVAC system is comprised of a gas fired WeilMcLain boiler Model No. 1078 with the corresponding burner, expansion tanks and water circulators (2). There is a Trane split system cooling condenser unit model TTA180B400CB combined with a Trane air handling (evaporator) unit model TWE180B400BC. Additionally, the awardee will be required to provide and install a new ductless split unit system in the laboratory area of the treatment plant, which is capable of cooling and heating (heat pumps). The Contractor is responsible for the proper removal of the above-mentioned equipment, safeguarding all property surrounding it, and the legal disposal of all waste materials and equipment. Windham Water Works shall retain the first right of refusal on all disposal equipment and materials. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits.
