A. Work under this bid is detailed and specified on the attached documents 5-000, S-100 and S-101 by Michael Horton Associated, Inc. B. The submitted bid shall include all materials, equipment and labor necessary to complete the project as detailed on the plans. C. Operations of the Transfer Station are open to the public daily from 7am until 3:30pm with the exception of Sundays and Wednesdays. Maintaining transfer station operations during the project is necessary and the contractor will need to coordinate work with the Town Engineer that will impact operations. It is preferred that one lane of one-way traffic be kept open at the side of the hopper where drop off of MSW to the hopper typically takes place. Each bidder will need to provide a staging plan and schedule for the project identiffing areas of the station that will need to be closed and the dates and duration of such closures. D. The Town will provide alternative trash drop off locations and dumpsters on site as coordinated with the contractor. E. The work of the contract shall take place as soon as possible and prior to October 15th of the contractyear. F. Work shall be completed in accordance with the provided details and technical specifications. G. Shop drawings and submittals are as required on the plan sheets attached. H. Inspection and testing requirements are as required on the plan sheets attached.
