Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The projected annual survey schedule, assuming only one technician is assigned to the project, is as follows: a. April through August – Public and Residential Service Survey b. September through October – Mobile Leak Survey c. November through March, inclusive, once per month – Winter Patrol Mobile Leak Survey B. Mobile Leak Survey of all 158 miles of natural gas distribution mains by use of a vehicle equipped with a Sensit VMD or equivalent, as approved by the Owner. Requirements are as follows: a. Driving speed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, and documented. b. Use of portable FI for areas where vehicle access is prohibited including, but not limited to, non-paved right of ways, meter regulator stations and bridge crossings. c. Collect GPS data during survey in order to properly document if a main has been surveyed. The GPS data format will be agreed between vendor and owner at project kick-off. d. Collect GPS location of all leaks and complete Owner leak documentation sheet. e. Owner may request occasional off schedule mobile leak surveys to assist with leak management, blast surveys, and other unanticipated events. C. Winter Patrol Mobile Leak Survey of all cast iron natural gas distribution mains (currently approximately 10 miles) by use of a vehicle equipped with a Sensit VMD or equivalent, as approved by the Owner. Requirements are as follows: a. Driving speed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications, and documented. b. Use of portable FI for areas where vehicle access is prohibited including but not limited to non-paved right of ways. c. Collect GPS data during survey in order to properly document if a main has been surveyed. The GPS data format will be agreed between vendor and owner at project kick-off. d. Collect GPS location of all leaks and complete Owner leak documentation sheet.
