Hazardous Building Materials Abatement Garde Arts Center; Mercer Building - 10 Meridian Street; Meridian Building - 14-16 Meridian Street; Meridian Building - 28 Meridian Street; The Work includes the following major items: a. Abatement and disposal of friable and non-friable asbestos containing building materials, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) containing building materials with concentrations <50 and ≥50 parts per million (ppm) and lead-based paints. b. Remove and dispose of materials located at the site where noted on the drawings and in accordance with requirements indicated on Drawings and in Specifications. c. Disconnecting existing utilities including, but not limited to, water, electricity, and natural gas as needed to facilitate the work. This includes coordination with individual utility companies and the City as required.
