Specifications include, but are not limited to: The baseball and softball fields located at the Brookfield High School have had recent flooding issues and have prevented a viable playing surface for approximately 60% of the playing season in 2019. This project is expected to include an investigation of the soils within the ball fields to determine their viability to support healthy turfgrass and to provide adequate drainage of stormwater and minimize surface flooding. The project will look at two main components of the ball fields, e.g., surface grading and subsurface drainage, and provide recommended solutions. An Engineer’s Estimate of Probable Cost shall be provided as part of the scope of services. The Project design shall be broken into natural and reasonable sections to provide for value engineering if bid construction costs come in over the available funding.
