Prepare a report outlining the upgrade needs of the Elmwood Pump Station and to prepare Final Design documents. 1. Conduct a code evaluation of the building. 2. Conduct a site walk / field evaluation with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural and architectural discipline engineers to evaluate the existing structure and equipment and confirm the town’s needs. 3. Prepare construction bidding documents in the form of Drawings and Specifications. 4. Finalize construction sequencing plan including other temporary requirements. 5. Assist the Town of Cheshire WPCD in filing any necessary application for permits from such governmental authorities having jurisdiction to review or approve the final design of the Project. 6. Conduct a hazardous materials survey limited to items to be demolished. 7. Furnish 60% Progress Drawings and review them with the Town of Cheshire. Consultant shall prepare a preliminary cost estimate for review and discussion with the Town. 8. Furnish 90% Bidding Documents and review them with the Town of Cheshire within sixty (60) days after receiving comments from the Town on the 60% Progress Drawings; and advise the Town of any adjustments to the cost estimate. 9. Finalize the Bidding Documents within thirty (30) days after receiving comments from the Town on the 90% Progress Drawings and any other reviewing agencies; and provide the final cost estimate. 10. Consultant shall provide Special Provisions and/or Technical Specifications for bidding purposes.
