Range Cleaning Scope (Detailed) A. Preparation and Safety: 1. Contractor to detail the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) contractor workers will use and other safety measures to be employed. B. Cleaning: 1. Walls, floors, baffles to be cleaned 2. Indicate methods to be used including HEPA vacuuming, wet mopping, lead-specific cleaning solutions to be used etc. 3. Lane and Booth Cleaning 4. Wipe down all surfaces a) Including but not limited to shooting stalls, lane dividers, and target retrieval systems with lead-removing wipes. 5. Thoroughly clean all glass partitions, clear and free of dust and residue. 6. Clean and sanitize common areas, including waiting areas and classrooms. C. Lead removal: 1. Use HEPA vacuums for fine lead dust removal. 2. Perform lead wipe testing to ensure effective cleaning. D. Backstop Cleaning: 1. Remove/sift accumulated debris, bullet fragment, lead etc. from the rubber granule backstop. 2. Clean remaining rubber granules as required. 3. Replace heavily contaminated, degraded, damaged etc. rubber granules with new. 4. Apply new flame retardant to all rubber granules.
