Scope of Work The specifications listed below set forth the necessary requirements to install an emergency generator at the Durham Community Center. Where electrical wiring/piping is not currently in place, electrical work shall be installed and concealed in the same manner and fashion as other wiring/piping in that area of the building. 1. Purchase and install 150 KW Generac Liquid-Cooled Gaseous Automatic Generator (Natural Gas) 2. Install concrete pad for generator. The location is where dumpster is currently located. 3. Install concrete safety bollards around generator pad. 4. Purchase, wire, and install an 1200amp automatic transfer switch. 5. Purchase, wire, and install a manual transfer switch with cam locks to be able to hookup a backup generator in the future if the permanent generator is out of service. 6. Disconnect old generator and circuit wiring to panel. (leave generator in place) 7. Crane new generator in place. 8. Install Gas related piping as necessary. 9. Purchase, wire, and install remote annunciator. 10. Any damage caused during the construction process shall be remedied so as to return conditions to preconstruction condition. 11. Any trenching and backfilling as necessary. 12. Rental of any temporary generator to keep building powered during any foreseen or unforeseen power shutdown(s)/loss of power as a result of the installation efforts. Includes delivery/pickup of rental, hookup, disconnect, and return. Fueling of generator during runtime will be the responsibility of the Town. 13. Bidder shall evaluate existing gas meter. Bidder shall be responsible to upgrade the gas meter to the appropriate size (if necessary). Bidder shall be responsible for the work and costs associated with such. 14. Bidder shall complete and/or coordinate hookup to Natural gas service. 15. Any and all other items necessary to provide “turnkey” completion of the proper installation of the specified emergency generator.
