NVCOG intends to engage a qualified multidisciplinary team with specialties in hydrological assessments, natural hazard analysis, and developing hazard mitigation concepts and strategies to complete a vulnerability assessment and develop a resilience improvement plan for the non-coastal area of Connecticut, comprising 94 cities and towns. The focus of the project is the vulnerability of local assets to natural hazard events and potentially severe flooding.
