Work Requirements The road will be upgraded to a width of 16’. Depth of material added to the road will be variable, ranging from as little as 4” to 12” or more where necessary. Necessary depth has been determined by the depth needed to establish a functional crown on a given road segment. Required order of operations: o Brush out road edges to 10-feet from road centerline OR if drainage ditch is present, a distance of 5-feet beyond the outer edge of the drainage ditch. Wood greater than 6”, which can be left in longer lengths, will be left on site for firewood. Any trees over 12” diameter will be bucked into 9’ logs and left roadside. Cut brush should not be left in the drainage ditches. o Remove all organic material (leaves, debris, brush, trees) from the drainage ditches. If necessary, re-shape and grade drainage ditches for appropriate drainage to the applicable culvert. All drainages should be cleared and water should flow into and away from culverts. o Remove existing culverts, dispose of old culvert material, and replace all culverts with HDPE H20 corrugated pipe with smooth interior...
