The Bridgeport Public Schools (BPS) Building Operations Department seeks to enter into a contract with a qualified contractor to pave the upper lot at Beardsley School. Contractor will provide all labor materials and equipment to complete the following Work: • Demo and dispose of the existing asphalt • Grade and compact subgrade • Purchase and install 2” of Class I asphalt compacted to 11/2” • Purchase and install 2” of Class II asphalt compacted to 11/2” • Line strip to match existing lines Any equivalent materials proposed must be approved by the BPS Building Operations Manager. The Contractor will be required to place a reasonable schedule, including time frame to procure and deliver Equipment, attached to Bid Form. In the event that the schedule will be exceeded based upon parts availability or circumstances beyond Contractor’s control, it is the Contractor’s responsibility to inform the BOE Facilities Manager of the delay.Paving must be completed during Summer Break 2025.
